Mediation service
and rooms - The Law Society maintains a register of names of lawyers who are qualified mediators, the areas in which each mediator is prepared to accept mediation assignment, and the fee charged by the mediator for up to 4 hours, followed by an hourly rate.
The Society's panel of accredited
mediators are available to mediate for a fee at the Society's premises or elsewhere. A Mediation
Kit is available.
The Law Society has 2 small rooms available for mediations at a cost of $100 half day/$200 full day. However, the 2 small rooms are not available while the Legal Advice Bureau is operating daily between the hours of 12.15 - 2.30 pm. Tea and coffee is available, and sandwiches can be ordered for an additional cost. Please contact Mrs Robin Guilfoyle on (02) 6247 5700 for bookings.
Small offices are available for suburban or visiting practitioners with waiting time in Civic (not available during the hours of 12.00 to 2.30pm while Legal
Advice Bureau is in progress).
